We will show the construction of three pebble style rocket mass heaters. The difference with these is that the mass is usually a wood bench filled with pebbles and rocks. A different wood heating aesthetic. These designs are (relative to cob style) easy to move and modify. They also tend to be lighter, thus, better for installing in places that have a wood floor.

You can get downloadable versions for the 4 or 8 movie sets.
Hmm, I followed the link from my permies email and selected the pebble style rocket mass heater HD instant view, but received the cob style instant view. Did I mix something up, or how did that happen?
There's a ravine filled with reject bricks, blocks and chunks of concrete on our property. I think utilizing that material along with the smaller pebbles would be a great way to build the mass for our Liberator RMH that we purchased!
Thanks in advance for any help on how I get access to the pebble style HD instant view.
Thanks for your quick reply Paul, and I apologize for not getting a reply back as quickly!
I'm in error on receiving an email with the pebble rmh link. Rather, I received the full event email link clicked on it and saw the pebble featured on that page so I searched for pebble rocket mass heater and came to this page. I scrolled to the bottom, clicked on the instant video for $15 and the file it downloaded was the $8 cob video. I thoroughly appreciate the videos I have watched, so no harm in purchasing the cob instructions. I'm likely not going to install our Liberator in the cob fashion to start with as we have a nice amount of small bricks and concrete chunks that could be recycled and that the pebbles would sift around easily. So being VERY new to this I'm planning to try the pebble approach.
How can I purchase the instant pebble version?
Thank you so much for your help!
Hi Brenda!
I checked the product ledgers, and see that you purchased the cob style rmh movie on Aug 23 at 20:10:47 mst and watched a little over 30 minutes. I'm glad you found the information useful.
It sounds like you're saying you accidentally navigated from this thread to that thread, and purchased that product thinking it was this product, watched a bit, and realized it was for the cob build and not the pebble build. Is that more or less what happened?
How can I purchase the instant pebble version?
To purchase the pebble style rmh movie, scroll to the top of this thread and click the $15 pebble-style HD Instant View link. Or, for convenience, I'll post the payment link here for you: hd instant view of pebble style rmh movie. After payment, the hd instant view of the pebble-style movie will stream from the top of this thread.
Does that help?
Q... we were due to receive plans for RMHs per the recent Kickstarter sometime in August, I think, but haven't received them? Wondering if they have been released and maybe we missed it?

Hi Brittney!
We’re making them super detailed so it has taken a little more than expected but almost there. You’ll be notified as soon as they’re out of the oven, very soon.
