For those of you out there who've had subscriptions to magazines and saved all the issues, then years later no longer want them, what did you do? Do libraries want such things? I had subscriptions to homesteading magazines such as Grit, Cappers Farmer, Mother Earth News, etc from some time in the last ten years and I want to find a new home for them. I feel like they contain a lot of quality information for the niche that folks here on Permies are interested in. I really don't want to toss them into the recycling bin. Is anyone here interested in them?

That's a lot of shipping weight, lol (otherwise I'd be in, for that!). Some groups, like homesteaders, homeschool support groups, etc are always interested in books like those. A local library or churches can usually put you in touch with them - if they don't want them.

I have sold them on eBay one issue at a time.

These were National Geographic.

The buyer pays for the shipping and other fees because I included all costs in the sales price.

It has been a long time since I sold on eBay so I don't know what the current strategies are.

I am only familiar with Mother Earth News of the ones you mention though I feel folks would be interested in the.

It is possible that someone might want the whole collection.

I know I should get rid of some of those old magazines but issue one volume one of Mother Earth News is so cool.

And I'd love to have them *all*, in hard copies. I love M.E.N., but Grit & Cappers are great, too.
