I went on my first road trip for the first time in years.  Well, a day trip because I had to be home in time to feed the chickens.

Here's a window into what my corner of Canada is like (plus cute animals)

check out the video here

I enjoyed your day trip R! The water was so still, very beautiful. Hope the lambs settle in well in their new home.

I miss the coast! I used to love the ferrie rides as a kid, now they give me an anxiety attack...

Awww, I spotted the mini-Zeus rooster! Are mini Henny Penny and Egg sitting on woolen nests?

Your new little lambs are so cute!

Hi R. Maybe one day you can make a longer video on 'your corner of the world'? I liked your short trip, but I would LOVE to see more of it. Including the ferry. I love ferries (I do my best to always include some in my bicycle tours, but they are over rivers, sometimes very small ferries over very small rivers).

My kids would like more videos of your lambs. They thought of the names Jubilee and Jeremiah.

I agree that I would like to see more of your area. It was fun to see the view from your car window. I've only been to Vancouver Island once, when I was 11, on a school field trip. I'd love to go back some day.
