Hey new friends,

Me and my family have started this journey here recently, I'm even going back to school to focus on this venture. We are looking for fellow permits to exchange ideas and plans, willing to help out with projects and share knowledge in return for the same. I am currently going to school for Criminal Justice and Individualized studies with minors in Social working, business, and Botany. My wife is from North Dakota where she was raised on a 600+ acre cattle farm and knows horses very well she is also a Licensed vet tech. We have two young children 7 and 1 are the ages.  Thats just a little about us and some of the knowledge we can offer the friendship, we look forward to your message.

We are looking for community and property currently! My wife is an herbalist midwife and teaches forest school and im a dumb electrician that likes to build things grow thing and geek out over forestry and habitat conservation! Glad you are here!

Welcome McGlone family!

My family is in Cincinnati, East Price Hill.
If you like to grow things, cane fruit does very well here.
There is a permaculture nursery called Growing Value and lots of community gardens.
There are also lots of parks, a great zoo/botanical garden, a plant conservatory, a civic garden center, and acres of land too steep to build on, so it is largely fallow.
There are vast amounts of autumn leaves and woodchips available every year.
I personally know three different religious leaders whoa are dedicated to feeding people through gardening and diverting food waste.
My wife just called to let me know that one of them just got their chickens!
Cincinnati has urban agriculture laws, that can be restrictive, but at least things are spelled out.
We get lots of rain, and a the predictions are that we will get more in the coming decades.

If you are looking for any particular thing, just ask, we might be able to save you some time.
