Hello family! Im in need of someone's eye who's experienced in
water retention planning and/or earth design. The
land I'm on has zero structures on it right now and therefore I want to take full advantage of designing the most applicable water plan for it. The contour lines look a little wonky, though I would like to believe I have identified my keypoint (white arrow) and the ponds cascading below it (black arrows). I plan on doing a keyline
swale and maybe some more every several yards descending the first one and keyline plowing in-between. The blue circle is at the very bottom of the property where a bigger
pond would be placed. By no means is this a complete sketch up but I wanted to check if I even have the right idea.. Does this look like it is headed in the right direction? Also would you recommend using some swales as roadways or access points? or just put roads on contour?
I appreciate anyone who has some feedback. Mulch Love
