Quail and pigeons are popular backyard birds. For urban homesteaders and permaculturists, they can be a source of eggs, meat, and manure. If you are interested in quail, pigeons, partridges, or doves, this forum is the place to share, discuss, and ask about these amazing birds.

On this very morning I became aware of the "chukar" partridge and naturally turned to Permies to learn more. There was not much in the search results but now maybe that will change!

Not much post yet,

Can also speak about little experience,
but it will normally become my new future,
keeping poultry for a nice piece of meat.
