This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in tool care.

For this BB, you will sharpen four gouges.  Chisels that do not have a flat edge would also count.

How to sharpen a gouge by hand

Video description:
"I've seen too many videos on sharpening gouges that rely on using expensive bench grinders and stones. I found through this method, you can take any shape or size of gouge from a door stop to a razor blade."

To get certified for this BB, post photos or a two minute video of:

 - close up of four dull gouges or chisels that do not have a flat edge
 - mid-process with all sharpening equipment used for each gouge
 - close up of each sharpened gouge's edge
