Question.

We have been using Eko Compost with good results BUT.. we just got a copy of the disclosure and it has an alarmingly high aluminum content. Anybody familiar with of this or know why?

Wondering,
Celeste

I choose to not use eko compost. I have concerns over the stuff that goes to the sewage treatment plant. Heavy metals, 90% of pharmaceuticals are pooped or peed out, the stuff that people put into their laundry, or the spooky shampoos/soaps. And then there is the stuff that missoula industry might send down the sewer. Some of the toxins are broke down by the composting process and some are not. I am more concerned about the things I don't know than the things I do know.

I think that if there are people in missoula that think "organic" is too anal, and they put the eko compost on ornamentals (not on foods), then I feel like that is their own business. But I don't think anybody should be putting this in their gardens. Especially folks that are keen on organic or better.
