Yeah, I found the same thing. I’ve been collecting and sowing native prairie grass seed for some years now. Indian Grass, Side Oat Grama, Canada Rye, Switchgrass, and Big and Little Bluestem mostly.
I think a lot of it is out competed by what’s growing there, but in the fall is when it really stands out, and I realize it was there.
