Water Storage by Art Ludwig question ...

Hello everyone interested in water storage and usage. I was recently directed to a well received book "Water Storage" by Art Ludwig and based on this I ordered this book, only to find out hat it is in Ebook format only !!! I come across this often nowadays, frustrating because I am unable to read more than a little online at any given time. Besides being old fashioned I very much prefer to read real books.
Does anyone have suggestion for a book similar to Mr Ludwigs?
I found the same problem with a good overall book on obtaining,installation and understanding Photovoltaic systems and i am still looking.

I would very much appreciate anyone's help here.

If it wasn't for ebook it probably wouldn't be available at ALL. Publishers simply can't print and warehouse books hoping they will sell eventually. So if they aren't sure it will sell X thousands of copies they won't print it.

Amazon was talking of doing a "print on demand" machine. Basically a laser printer and book binding machine in one--like a Kodak photo machine but for books. I don't know if it ever happened. Maybe someone offers that service today, if they have figured out the copyright issues.

I love the fact I can carry the library of Congress in my coat pocket, but I have never had the batteries go dead on real paper.

R. Scott, thank you for your reply. Due to several pertinent reasons my lady and I do not use cell phones or the like, a kindle therefore is not an option. i get a lot of information downloaded onto paper to read later but to do this with an entire book would be a terrible waste of paper and ink.
The information i need will be gleaned one way or another, I thought I was supporting Mr Ludwig in offering to pay for his book (damn the cost of the ebook was high enough, must be a decently huge profit there with no overprinting eh?).

Brad Lancaster has a series of books: Harvesting Rainwater for Drylands & Beyond Vol. 1 & 2.

Vol. 1 is heavy into the principals - well worth a read (in your public library?)
Vol. 2 is the nuts-and-bolts of making it work - this one should be in your home.

He is a native of Tuscon, AZ, so he understands the importance of utilizing every available drop.

I actually found references to these books on this site, and after communicating with him I decided that these books will do just fine. I look forward to receiving and reading both volumes.
Now if I can find similar tomes to assist me in my photovoltaic project i will be well on my way.
