Sustainable Development Programs in Montana Funded

High Stakes Foundation

The mission of the High Stakes Foundation is to provide support to visionary people and organizations that are leading and implementing changes that will create a sustainable future for Montana. The Foundation focuses on strategies that will leverage adaptation to the end of peak oil, global climate change, and rapidly shifting economic and political environments with an emphasis on local solutions. The specific grant focus areas include Sustainable Environment, Sustainable Communities, and Sustainable People. Grants generally range from $1,000 to $25,000. Here is another idea for a small grant - growing Echinacea or other native MT plant! Echinacea is a good one because it has so much value in commerce, particularly when sold to European countries!
