Hey everyone! Our friends over at BK Farmyards sent me an email about promoting their new children's book Kickstarter, and they very generously signed up for Kickbooster as well, which means that every backer we get through this link gives Permies.com a little kickback as well!

My Dinosaur Ate My Shitake

The book is for children ages 6-8, and focuses on teaching them the importance of eating vegetables and whole, healthy foods, and help keep themselves healthy with wild herbs and foods.

This book is the follow-up to their previous book, My Dinosaur Ate My Broccoli, which you can currently buy here on Amazon.

These literary works for children not only pack a lovely message, but the art is so colorful and beautiful. I know as a parent I sometimes struggle to find books that I really want my son to read, and I love supporting small businesses by backing campaigns like this.

In addition to this adorable book, Stacey and Eileen are also putting together a coloring book version that is available as one of the Kicstarter rewards. Both books are 12 pages, and are expected to be completed by the Fall of 2016.

If you'd like a copy of the book, just click here and back the campaign at at least the $25 level.

Pledged, for two books in the series. The grandkids need these!

Just a reminder everyone, this Kickstarter closes in 8 hours! Stacy has met her goal already, but if you'd like to preorder the softcover version of the book, you can still back at the $25 level to get a copy here.
