Our valley is a really special place ... but don't tell any one.

We are 4 years into our permaculture small holding journey and have a core team of 4 Permaculture Designers on our land roundig out our Internship Program (which is filled up for the year) but we are surrounded with an amazing community of farmers and friends each playing with various avenues of homesteading. Communally we have created a dynamic Permaculture Guild.

We have right now on our web site advertised 7 farm stay opportunities on the diverse and amazing farms which surround us and enrich our lives; goat + horse farms, market gardeners, natural builders, family farms and more. We are all nestled in the stunning Slocan valley in the Kootenay mountains of the southern most part of central BC. (2.5 hours north of Spokane Washington). We are surrounded by the Vallhalla's and pristine waterways, a natural playground, with loads of small town charm; arts and music are a key part of our Kootenay culture, along with wilderness and adventure sports, and a rich agricultural history.

As far as we see it the more permies in our valley the better... If you want to travel around and visit a few farms, this is the place to do it!

No matter how many women are assigned to the project, a pregnancy takes nine months. Much longer than this tiny ad:
