Hi Folks! I'm working on putting in my food forest/garden design on our 1/8 acre suburban home in Sugarhouse. I've designed a rainwater harvesting system a la Brad Lancaster, with trenches, basins, and rain barrels to make the most of rainwater from the roofs.

I just finished my PDC with Denise Devynck at Utah Valley Permaculture School (see the BB on building a food forest for a video tour of her garden/school!), and we put most of the design in a couple of weeks ago, but are having this follow-up blitz to do the water system.

Any permies in the SLC area are warmly welcomed--I'd love to meet you and I'd be grateful for your help! Bring your shovel, I'll provide the snacks.

Thanks tiny ad, for helping me escape the terrible comfort of this chair.
Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
