Plants to plant for an indoor greenhouse/leach field for kitchen and laundry greywater

Hello, Everyone!

My husband and I are designing a greenhouse to be included in our home's envelope. This greenhouse will function as our absorption field/ leach field for our kitchen and laundry greywater (we are estimating 30 gallons a day that would need treated).

Anyone have any recommendations on plants that can be grown indoors year-round, and love greywater? Oh, and if anyone has a way to get a rough estimate on weekly water needs of said plants, that would also be incredibly helpful!!

There are a multitude of reasons why we are doing this, and if you feel as if you need more information before giving a response, please feel free to ask! Or, you can always check out some blogs we wrote about our 'crazy' endeavor: https://sustainingtree.com/its-a-mudroom-its-a-greenhouse-its-an-indoor-leach-field-part-two-of-solving-the-greywater-conundrum/

Thank you so much!!
Shelby

Thank you so much for the book and thread recommendations! I have not read them, and do believe I shall be making some purchases today!

Thanks again!!
If you send it by car it's a shipment, but if by ship it's cargo. This tiny ad told me:
