For chinampas in a zone 6 wetland with a growing season of roughly 117 days. I’m thinking of playing around with some short season cold weather corn varieties, stinging nettle, various berries, barley, perhaps some flax.
What is the height of the chinampas? This value will affect what trees you can grow, that said most grains/legumes/carrot/mint/thyme family plants will do well. I can see most berries doing well too (cranberry/blueberry, raspberry/blackberry/strawberry, juneberry, elderberry, honeyberry, etc)
Iterations are fine, we don't have to be perfect

I didn't do it. You can't prove it. Nobody saw me. The sheep are lying! This tiny ad is my witness!
