I have seen somewhere a map showing where wild plants have been seen growing. But I don't remember the site. On the map, you can put the name of the plant, and it shows you where it was seen. Anyone knows where I can find that? It would be really helpful for knowing similar conditions where it could grow.
I google " plant name+ range map" and there will be different maps showing up. Some are more complete than the others. There are also websites with specialized maps: for example showing the range of a certain plant and whether it's native, rare or invasive in different areas.
Something like this:
Hi,
thanks for the replies, I somehow didn't get any notification of the replies.
It was something similar to the BSBI map, but I think more centered on the US. I cannot find it anymore with the keywords "range map" + "plant name". If anyone knows something else?

I think you could be thinking of BONAP, maybe? I know Go Botany uses maps from them, but they can be slightly inaccurate at the county level, especially for introduced species.
