Can anyone recommend some good nurseries in the Montana area - or even in the PNW - for tree varieties of all types (fruit, wildlife, etc.)? BTW, I'm already aware of the Montana DNRC nursery. Thank you! Rickster

Canyon View Nursery up the Bitterroot. This guy knows his fruit trees. I also have a nursery, mostly native trees and shrubs, mostly for riparian restoration.

Hi Rick, I am in Southwest Montana, near Bozeman and I have a nursery...I primarily sell bare-root trees, shrubs, vines and roots, both domestic and native fruit producers and conservation seedlings. I have a catalog that I distribute during the winter and take orders for mid-April distribution of the bare root stock out of Bozeman. I sell zone 2-4 hardy plants only. Send me a message and I will add you to the email list...I can send the catalog's PDF file via email to you. I will be updating the catalog in the next few weeks, and may offer shipping for the first time this spring. I am also offering for sale for the first time a Sepp Holzer-style seed mix for perennial pasture/soil-building that will be in the catalog as well for early Spring '12 planting.
