No real questions here, just wanted to share:

I need to fill in the numerous ruts that have developed as my lawn went from bare dirt to mostly grass.  I've been lax/hesitant, hoping the grass would just knit together, but after 3 years (stupid, lazy me) those ruts have gotten deep, and rough ride is now just intolerable.  I've been hesitant to just go and fill in, for fear that these areas will quickly washout again (irrational, maybe, but I also don't want to waste time and money).  I feel a little better after having read this:

Plus, joy of all joys, I found the local landscape recycling center that every municipality has, but I never thought to look for.  I can get some nice local "garden compost" for way cheaper than stores.  Now I just need to get some big bags to haul some home with!
