This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Animal Care.

In this Badge Bit you will scythe a field and make at least one bale of hay.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
 - you must scythe and dry green grass
 - you must make at least one bale of hay

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, post pictures or a short video depicting:
 - a field that you are about to scythe
 - an action picture of harvesting/gathering the hay
 - the scythed field with the grass drying
 - the hay going into the manual baler
 - your one bale of hay

Just to clarify, we can only do this BB if we have a manual hay baler?  What if we carefully tie the proper amount of hay together?  Thanks.

Correct, the baler gives you a much more repeatable bale that will stack nicely and be easy to distribute/use.  Luckily there's a BB for making a baler in the Straw level

Making a hay stack could be a future BB someday...
