This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Tool Care.

This BB will be to clean the shop
 - before and after pic
 - significant difference
 - at least an hour

Here's an example of someone who spent 2 hours cleaning their shop.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

To get certified for this BB, post at least two pictures:
 - a before picture
 - an after picture that shows significant improvement and at least 1 hour hour of work

We just inherited a bunch of tools from my grandparents who down-sized to retirement apartment living. And, of course, we needed a place to put everything...and the garage was a mess (with two littles, the garage was our last priority for cleaning, and it sure shows!). And so we cleaned! We spent about 3 hours on it. Next up is attacking the gardening area and the dun-dun-dun fishkeeping stuff.

3 days on this. I picked up scroll saw/table top sander/etc cheap at an estate sale. I converted this corner to a forging station and a wood working station. I added a loft above to take advantage of the ceiling height.

HEY!!! WE CLEANED OUR SHOP!!! it took us lots longer than an hour...took us longer than 1 day actually, and more than my two hands did the work...but, cowboy and i got er done...almost...we still need to install a wood heater in the corner and redo the swinging doors...but...the shop itself looks pretty darn good if i say so myself...and i didn't mind taking the pictures...cause it'll probably never be cleaner than this!

Have an 8' x 20' steel container that I've turned into a woodworking shop. Thanks to this Badge Bit, it got cleaned out!

I cleaned my garage shop today!  I also did a bit of organizational improvement like shelves for the safety gear above the red tool cabinet and hanging the fire extinguisher (hey, there's a BB for that!).

In the "after" view you can see some stuff still on the bench.  Those are active projects that I have underway (shiny bit 2' to the right of the vice, circular disks on the right and garage door opener)
