Here is my submission for the Woodland Care - Sand - Split and Stack a Dead Standing Tree BB.

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided the following:
 - Your dead standing wood you are starting with
 - The wood cut
 - starting the stack (and it is clear that the wood is all about 15 to 16 inches long)
 - the stack about 2/3 done (still clear that all of the wood is all about 15 to 16 inches long)
 - the completed stack (still clear that all of the wood is all about 15 to 16 inches long)

one-half of a face-cord is 4-ft by 4-ft by the depth of the firewood.

This one was a little tricky with spring finally here the garden takes priority over the logging so I finally got around to splitting it after a few weeks of letting the logs just sit in the barn one rainy day

Sorry the dimensions of the stack is about 6.5ft x 2ft so a little wonky to the required 4ft x 4ft but I hope that can be overlooked. I stacked it that way because the studs of the wall are holding it up.

I built a fire-wood rack as a dimensional lumber BB, so I might as well put some wood on it.

I cut up two small dead trees one weekend but it wasn’t enough, so I cut up another larger one this past Saturday and now it totals more than the 1/2 face cord this BB requires. (42” high by 62” wide is 2604 sqin = 18+ sqft.)

I cut a length of dowel to 15.5” that I took into the field and used when making my chainsaw cuts.
