We haven't installed it just yet, but we might get Clay back to install it just for the love of it

Best wishes on finding a spot

Energetic Bodywork at Summer Events

Hello everyone!

There's a wizard at Wheaton Labs that's going to be offering 2 healing and recovery experiences during the events, discounts available for pre-scheduling All times are minimum times, some sessions will run longer as needed.

Both sessions utilize energetic practices like Reiki & Quantum Touch, along with gentle bodywork and Taoist acupressure to realign your structure and destress your soul

"The Reset" = A 20-minute session designed to relax, align, and open up. Great for shaking off a long day and continuing to have a good time!
$15 when scheduled

"Deep Dive" = A 60-minute session of deep work. We'll work on whatever your needs are (manifestation/reality empowerment, opening, communication, centering and calming, etc...). Attunements and training are also available during this time!
$50

Who is this wizard? Brian the Boot!!
I've been learning and practicing different kinds of energy work for over 20 years, attuned as a Reiki Master/Teacher for the last decade & creator of Radiant Amplified Healing.

In short, my hands are good hands to be in!

Most sessions will be on Saturday, a few session times will be available during the week.

Prices listed are for reservations confirmed by June 30th, prices go up $10 for sessions booked during the PTJ. SKIP reservations are able to be made until July 14th before price increase.

Ask your questions here or PM to reserve a spot!

We had another fantastic harvest at WL Bootcamp today and another boot and I handled the canning.
We were able to separate the very green, very red, and mixed color stalks to take maximum advantage of thr abundance!

The green.and red were cooked separately to best preserve their color, and the mixed stalks went into the dehydrator.

Here's the ingredients for each batch.

Green Rhubarb - 4.5lbs Rhubarb, 3.5lbs sugar, 1/2 Tbsp. Lemon juice, 1/4 tsp. Citric Acid, 1/4 tsp. Ginger juice

Red Rhubarb - 1.625lbs Rhubarb, 1.25lbs Sugar, 1/8 tsp. Citric Acid, 1/8 tsp Hibiscus Powder(color & acidity boost)

Initial results are delicious!

I did a standard polydough recipe with regular, bleached AP flour a few days ago and pulled off a very tasty herbed bread loaf(focciacia style)

The attempts making the dough with whole wheat never end up as light and fluffy. I think experimenting with letting the dough rise the second time in its baking vessel and not handling it other than putting it in the oven could give a more enjoyable loaf.

I'll post when that experiment happens:)

Pollydough for the win, again!

The dough was made a few days ago and there was some left over just waiting to be used after the cleaning blitz today.

The last few weeks had been regularly overcast as much as they had been sunny and solar ovens definitely work better with consistent sun light.

However, it felt like a great day to test the GoSun with attempting a polydough baguette. Imperfect conditions still produced a tasty result today

Uninterrupted sun will definitely work better, also need to find the loaf pans for the GoSun & possibly do an aluminum foil tray for making baguettes without burning the bottom in full sun.

All (near)future experiments!
