We were planing to offer just the space for the urt, or RV, for someone to bring in there own, however there is an RV here on the property we could let someone ues.
We are off grid but that only means we make our own power, we have all the modern conveniences, including flush toilets, jacuzzi tub, laundry room, full kitchen, even a 50 in tv. All of these thing would be available for someone here on the property to ues free of charge.
We currently have 5 goats, (nubian and fainting) 3 IPP pigs, 7 dogs, 4 cats, and over 100 birds, chickens and ducks both layers and meat birds.
We're open to any length of stay, but we're really looking for people that wish to stay 6 months or more. And we're open to long term stays, anyone that works is welcome to stay as long as they like.
I'm not sure what you mean by " ties" but anyone here and working gets feed everyday and can put a portion of every harvest into their own frezers or jars. Our long term hope is that people will start here on our land and ues that time to save some money and learn enogh homesteading skills to go out a buy thier own near bye piece of land to homestead. This will allow us to start a share network for the big tools like tractors, heavy equipment, and harvesting implements. We could also provide plant starts and baby livestock along with any other help we can to get your own local homestead up and running.
No you wont find any stupid rules here like no drinking or smoking. Your welcome to do whatever you want here as long as you put a little work in each day.
The land is forested mountains except the areas we have cleared for development. We're bordered by the colville national forest.
We have 13000 gallons of drinking water storage and more water storage for animals and irrigation. And yes there's at least 3 backup plans for everything here including water.
We are secluded with 4 mi of county maintained dirt roads and 2 mi of our private dirt roads between us and the nearest blacktop road. The nearest store is 15 mi from the property and that is a gas, liquor, and pot shop. Wal mart, north 40, sears Safeway, and 3 hardware stores are in colville about 25 mi from here. Town is about half an hour travel from here. And even in winter town is accessible after we plow our 2 mi road.
