I want to turn my town in Ireland into a Transition town but I am not sure were do start or how to make money so I can eat while I work on it? Any thoughts?

I have a thought I need some help ideas with it. I am working in TAnzania this summer. Malaria, Typhoid etc are terrible diseases that are spread by mosquitoes. I was thinking about Aquaphonics. Fish eatting mosquitoes. Creating food while reducing sickness. Has anyone any experience with this idea?

I am interested and want to start up a business that useing permaculture design. What I am hoping to do is work with business both food and non food to reduce their waste. These wilol be business that may know nothing about permaculture, I am looking for thought, ideas and suggestions?
