Larry, could outline the method used by Fukuoka to produce miso? I guess it was the same ancient japanese method; my problem is that I don't know where to find information about it.

The older method was sand with ashes. You can also make soap with ashes plus some vegetable oil or animal grease.

You may want to take a look at Ralph Borsodi's books.

My wife stays home and it helps a lot with our financial targets. It's also very easier to have a good diet.
