I like to use hand signal to train my dog.  This is especially helpful when you need to be quiet, like when someone is taking a nap.

Hi Anne;   Congrats on posting a video (I believe you were having issues with that)

I have trained all my dogs to hand signals for years , much better way to give them your intentions than talking.

We have a 9 month old "puppy" hes a Caucasian Shepherd so at 9 months hes  around 110lbs  lol we trained most his commands with hand signs and he responds to them better then verbal commands and our much older lap dog was not trained with the hand signs but picked up on them totaly on her own just watching us work with the puppy
