2 DAYS LEFT for EARLYBIRD Special ~ Use Code EARLYBIRD at ticket link below!!  Discount CODE EARLYBIRD Expires 2/28/2018!!!

Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm is proud to host our second annual Cob Sculpting Workshop focused on Women's Empowerment!! Join us as we celebrate our liberation together and learn how to build our own dwelling, fashioned from Cob, a mix of clay, straw and sand.

Instructors Brenda Quintero and Natasha Daggs are a mother-daughter team assisted by the new generation and the elders/ancestors in this important work focused on EMPOWERING WOMEN. Brenda has been teaching cob scupting for six years, and Natasha brings purity and joy to scene as a Waldorf Teacher. We will also be joined by special guest teacher Rachel Avilla, who will be leading us learning about earthen and lime plasters.

We will be offering our Cob Sculpting Basics Course in this 3-day intensive workshop.

ABOUT THE COURSE:
We will be delving in working on “Grandma’s Shoe House”, an outdoor meditation space and children’s play area shaped like a shoe! The weekend will be filled with Dreaming, Ceremony, Music and lots of content on HOW to build a small sculpted cob structure.

ABOUT THE FARM: Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm was founded in 2010 and specializes in teaching earthen building concepts, and producing fresh herbs, herbal tea blends and seasonal organic produce using poly-cropping, companion planting and bio-intensive farming practices. Through the permaculture lens, concepts of “Earth Care; People Care; and Fair Share” are played out in the gardens and in the community that we serve.

Cost for the full 3-day workshop starts at $225 and includes organic lunches daily from our gardens, and onsite camping at beautiful Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm located in Middletown, Lake County, CA. Some "glamping" sites are available for an additional fee.

Want to come with family or friends? Families welcome! Attendees under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Family and Friends booking discounts apply!

Want to come but don't have any dough? We want you to be here and need your help to pull off an awesome event! Work trade opportunities are available, please contact goldenrocksfarm@gmail.com for more information about work trade opportunities or to inquire about scholarships.
