I am interested in finding land for labor opportunities. I am not exactly sure this is the right terminology, but we are selling our homestead and heading out on the road to see what we can learn. We are looking for someone who has land available that we could put a tiny house, yurt, or mobile home on and lease enough land to grow some food while we are there. We would be willing to work the land for the owner or make some other type of monetary of labor trade. The question is, how do we go about finding these types of opportunities. It seems like I hear Salatin and permaculture folks discussing these as options, but we are not sure how to start exploring opportunities.

This forum is a great place to start.  Specifically the "community" forum, I believe.  Posting the general area you are looking to head to would also help gather responses.  A few other sites   that might be good starting places. are ic.org and helpx.net

Hi Mike. Why don't you post some profile and contact info so people know who they are writing to and how to contact them off-list?
