No, not this one, but I made a bunch for the lady we got the goats from, those worked well. She had a fiber shop and her wood turning freind was ill so I was able to help her out with some inventory.
I make the hooks at the top, mostly because you can adjust the angled hook to be in line with the axis of the spindle, and the thread/yarn won't slip sideways, it makes a big difference to the user that coffee cup hooks can't give.
A lot of them are a dowel glued in, I find that turning the whole thing as one with the two already joined makes a much more balanced spindle.

Kadence, I was slow to this thread, otherwise I would have nominated you...I think we are late now as the deadline is past.
Beautiful drop spindle, Chadwick I would be glad to buy one plus shipping if you want to trade my spot in the draw with Kadence.
