Hello...I have had an ongoing fascination with the work of Viktor Shauberger so I would love to indulge a little and ask if anyone has put any of his principles to practical application in
permaculture.
My gateway drug into
permaculture was aquaponics ...when I noticed my Basil was just not doing that well I placed a flower pot on my upper grow bed and adjusted the
water hose coming from my fish tank on an angle so it would create a vortex that drained through the center drain hole of the pot...next day I was shocked as the Basil plant did not even look like the same plant...all of my plants perked up and none of my starter goldfish died after that......interesting
I see so many connections and parallels between(((I had to leave the following auto correction unchanged because it was funny as hell==> Zeppelin Holtzer and Viktor Shauberger and I truly believe that Viktor was another brilliant nature taught Guy like
sepp that just took another path as an adult.
I am sure sepp must have studied his work hearing Paul talk about how his water
should be living and creating a certain rapping noise as water drains from a
pond.
I recently saw a viktor idea being used to create a more efficient wind turbine and I'm certain natures principle can be applied everything from water catchment to rocket stoves and mass
heaters.
I have some designs in mind and and saw some woodstove ideas and campstove ideas on videos that were very similar and impressive.
Hopefully I will get to share some fun projects here in the future and look forward to seeing other permies ideas or experiences.
I know his work can definitely be "out there"and I am mostly interested in anyone's experiences or applications of shaubergers work that has practical applications in
permaculture ...if you built a spaceship it may be for a different forum
Any practical exeriences or ideas based on vikto'rs work?....I would love to hear from you
