There are 4 copies of his e-book The Grazing Book up for grabs.

Chris himself will be popping into the forum over the next few days answering questions and joining in discussions.

From now through this Friday, any posts in this forum, ie the cattle forum, could be selected to win.

Hi Crhis and welcom!
You seem to have learnt a lot to be able to write all this after a short period in the cattle "field" and I guess it must come from previous experience at university and the want to do a personal job at recalling (and organizing) your new learnings. I have read about you on your site, and that is great to have done this brave dive into the "swimming pool"!

Hello Chris,

Its great to have you on the forum. I just recently found your podcast and I am enjoying it allot, and learning so much. Your podcast introduced me to the works of Greg Judy and Ian Mitchell-Innes, so thank you so much for that.

I am in a similar circumstance as you were, I don't have any farming or ranching background, but I am looking for opportunities to do internships, since listening to your podcast, that seems to be the best way to learn as well as actually do, some farming and ranching to build that experience level.

Kevin,

Thanks for the kind words. I would figure out what it is you want to do. Cattle, sheep, veggies, pigs or whatever, and work with the best person you can find that does that. Also, go visit as many potential farms for internships as you can. I visited 3-4 before I did mine, I'm glad I did. Good Luck!

So I ran the winner picker app in the forum software and we have two winners

Adam Klaus
and
Nicholas Covey

Congratulations Adam and Nicholas!

I sent you an email to ask for the email address of the person that first referred you to Permies.com. That person (if qualified) will also get a copy of the book.
