I currently use moleskine notebooks for keeping track of things, Several currently for specific subjects or groups I'm involved in. Since I use a different moleskine for some tasks I oft times forget to transfer tasks or dates to my scheduling calendar. I am considering a Remarkable or Scribe to consolidate all journals and calendars into a one stop location. My phone is too small and a Scribe or Remarkable a bit too large. What type of portable electronic note taking do you use?

Robert, first I need to offer you an apology, for I cannot really help or answer your question.  I'm sure the names you have used are some tech thingy, like an app but other than that I have no clue. I've just now come in from cleaning leaves, (using a rake) and checking my note from earlier, which I wrote using my grandfather's mechanical pencil on the blank part of some statement I got in the mail, I just couldn't help but laugh at myself and send this reply.

Well as you have now figured out I mostly believe in and use "old" tech.

If this Chrome thingy didn't light up by itself when opened, I would be in trouble!  I do hope you will join me in a good laugh, I have no real fear of tech, I'm at a point in life that I enjoy things as simple as they can be.

I'm sure someone will post a real answer that may be of some help to you.

Peace

Deanne,
I love old tech too, a moleskine notebook, a fountain pen and a mechanical pencil are in my pocket now. I just need a quick way to collate and organize notes,
dates and action items in a central location.  I have a tablet but not loving it.

I need a new interior decorator. This tiny ad just painted every room in my house purple.
