Hello my name is Danny, I'm a logger with a passion for axes and traditional skills of the forest, all self taught, with a little book reading and a lot of sweat, I enjoy camping in the backwoods of the Adirondacks, I'm hoping to meet a few like minded people an I hope to learn a few things as well,

Thanks

Danny.

Danny Williams : Welcome to Permies, You are joining 17,000 + members scattered completely around the world, As you look down the Forum/Threads lists you will discover
the wide range of subjects that members here are interested in! You will long remember your first few posts here at Permies, when someone joins in to talk about a subject
you are interested in, they will be interested too ! Also their life experience will be widely, possibly wildly different from yours, bringing different thoughts to the Discussion !

A few years ago there was a book out called 'Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarden !" , Basically , all you need to Know to have a Great time here is the
'play-nice' rule you learned in Kindergarden !

As you can see I live in the foothills myself Here in St.Law Co., Permies members are a little thin on the ground around here, Hope to see your name often in these pages !

Just as an appetizer, search in the 'Rocket Stoves Forum' for a Forum Thread 'Popular Mechanics - The Alliance for Green Heat Challenge' , click on the thread, and then click
on the link! All of us here at Rocket stoves have high expectations for the D.I.Y.Builds beating the Corporate Interests !

For the Good OF the Crafts ! Be safe, Keep warm ! all questions, comments are solicited and Welcome PYRO - Magically Big AL !

Howdy Danny, we have a few threads about building things out of logs and such. What kinds of projects have you done?
