I have a 150 acre plot of land in the southern Appalachian mountains (easy access from Western NC) that I own and do my best to protect. I'm a tree hugger at heart.
Looking for a female companion to share this place with. Age is a number, race is a color, if you're a nice person and in good health then let's talk I can send you a picture once I'm sure you're real.

Can you say more about yourself and what you're looking for?

I really should say more about what I'm looking for, where I am going, what I am doing.

I am finishing up my truck camper, which serves as home and mobile office. I work from home as a hardware designer.
I love this area for its wonderful hiking and whitewater. Mountainbiking is abundant as well.
My greatest desire is to preserve the land as much as possible; I bought my land to prevent it being logged and subdivided.

I do enjoy traveling as well, to exciting places to enjoy what their biome has to offer. I don't go to cities unless I need supplies or there is a VERY intriguing museum.

Naturally, my life is slightly split; maintaining my land while also traveling for snowsport or other adventures.

What I dream of: a small stone house, laid by our own hands. A native garden, with some technology thrown in to help it thrive without our every moment. A touch of self-sufficiency, but not to the point of being "preppers".
I take good care of my health, and wish the same of a partner; I want to run with you, to share snowboarding/cross-country with you, whitewater kayaking. I want us to teach one another, and share our wisdom. I am thoughtful, but in my own way.

Most of all, I want you to be happy. Wherever that leads you.

I am childfree by choice, I had a vasectomy over 10 years ago. I do not judge others, but I also must choose a similar mindset in my partner. I want to lead a simple life, with only the things we need and plenty of time to just be human.

If this calls to you, please write. Even if we're not for one another, I want to read your story.

Hi! I realize your post is nearly a year old, but I just happened to come across it and it reads like a laundry list of my own wants and wishes. If you’re still looking for a companion or friend I’d love to chat more. I’m Michelle, 48 F currently living in the Orlando area.  My vision and desires for the future are very much in line with what you’ve described, but I’m currently working a 9-5 and living in the suburbs. Not really sure how this site works, as I literally just found it 5 minutes ago, but if you would like to chat more, email me! I think we have a lot in common.
