Tune into lunar rhythms, discover patterns and build self-knowledge with the help of a moon cycle calendar. Originally designed for women to record their menstrual cycle, however the calendar can be used by anyone. Highlight specific dates pertinent to the moon in relationship with nature for any activity (planting, harvesting, or spring/neap tides are a few possible examples). The calendar offers a way to have such information handy and quickly accessible. Also valuable for anyone interested in following lunar astronomy or astrology and wishes to have the basic details at-a-glance.
This calendar can be printed at home and will fill a standard 8x11 sheet of paper. The calendar can also be used digitally by clicking on dates and saving the file electronically (see video).
A note about the astrology: This moon cycle calendar is based on the Tropical Zodiac / Whole Sign system, where the moon spends approximately 2.5 days in each sign. The timing of this calendar is also based at Noon in Central Standard Time. On days where the moon changes zodiac signs during the day, the AM sign was favored and thus indicated. The calendar should remain fairly accurate for locations across the American continents, but the further away your time zone is from CST the less accurate the astrology of this calendar will be.
