Hi

I own 40 acres in Rainier WA. I have two lovely cabins available on my land. It is totally off grid. Both cabins have wood burning stoves and propane cook tops. The larger cabin has a separate sitting area and large kitchen. The smaller cabin has a very cute kitchen. Both have a ton of natural light and windows. Renters will have access to the remainder of the property minus the area immediately adjacent to my house. There are 38 acres of forestland with several sunny openings and miles of trails. The water comes from natural springs on the land. Both cabins have running water and outhouses. The large cabin will rent for 1100 and the small cabin for 650. I will be building a solar dehydrator, root cellar and other amenities this summer which renters will be able to use. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to: grow mushrooms, run a small herbalism business, grow fruit such as blueberries or apples or make crafts. I will be hosting small group events here, mostly on weekends and renters could also rent space from me to run their own workshops and events on the property. I am ideally looking for long term tenants for both spaces. Feel free to email me at IAmEmilySara@protonmail.com for more information.

sounds amazing!  I am located in Tacoma and am locked in to a mortgage here, but am interested if you would consider doing weekend rentals if the space was available?  Sounds like an amazing place to get away to.  Thanks

Aloha!

I am currently living in Kauai, HI. I am looking to move to somewhere in Cascadia, I've spent time living/farming in Southern Oregon/Northern California but have not lived in Washington yet.

I have been farming for the past 10 years, the last 5 I spent managing a farm here in Kauai. A month ago I stopped working with the farm and started a new job writing grants for a nonprofit business that has worked closely with the farmer on the island to provide elders & at risk communities with local food.

My vision is to move back to the west coast to be closer to my family, garden for myself/maybe a small business, and continue working more with non-profits focused on food system change. My family is on the East coast- so a trip out to HI is a lot to ask.

I have loved the time spent in Washington, and would love to talk further about potentially renting either of your cabins. I do have a black lab, she is 5 years old and very sweet and calm.

Please feel free to send me an email at megzeliz @ gmail.com if any of this sounds like I may be a good fit.

Mahalo,

Meg
