Hey everyone! Like a number of other folks, I can't edit my previous posts. So I wanted to write a new one since time has flown on by and things have changed somewhat. I'm still seeking community, and even more so, someone to share my farm with!
First, the living situation: One big 'ol farmhouse on 9 pristine acres in northern SE. Michigan with insane amounts of potential. The home is currently occupied by me, my amazing housemate and our raggamuffin assemblage of animals and kiddos. We have a room we would love to fill with another amazing human person.
Next, who I am: I’m Bri, a 33 (oh wow! it let me edit!) year old
free thinking, earth worshiping, lover of all things. I
should also add that I am unconventionally partnered to someone who lives a distance from here, and always will (ask questions if you're confused) and a mother of 2 small humans. I am a firm believer in love without boundaries. I wouldn’t call myself polyamorous, but I can tell you after (amicably) ending a marriage and relationship of 14 years, it has become apparent that no one person can be someone else’s everything.
My housemate and I are looking for community. A tribe, people with whom to be vulnerable, intentional, productive, communicative, loving. I want friends who connect on an emotional, intellectual, maybe even spiritual level.
I seek the perfection in imperfection. For me, that comes with knowing we are all responsible for our own actions and reactions.
I am in the process of reigniting my Clinical Massage and bodywork practice of 11 years, honing in on my artistic talents, finding ways to make this home and
land work for me, and scaling down my hours at my "grown up" job. While I do love that job, I realized after going through the motions of earning a graduate degree and starting on a conventional career path I'm not cut out for the rat race and am ready to find a
sustainable life utilizing the abundance that is right in front of my face.
My passions include spending as much time outdoors as possible, hiking, camping, swimming in lakes,
gardening and just generally being productive.
Perhaps I sound like someone you would enjoy connecting with. Perhaps I sound like someone who you would enjoy being housemates with. Either way, I would love to start a conversation.
