Hello All!
I'm very excited to announce the second annual PDC Course being held near Regina, SK (24km NW on my farm). The course runs over a 7 month period (October 2019 - April 2020) with a break in the classes in February.

Who am I?

My name is Jenine Kozey and I own Edible Landscapes Permaculture Design and Consulting where I am a permaculture educator and consultant throughout Saskatchewan, Canada. I have been in business now for 5 years specializing in edible and medicinal perennials for the prairies (USDA Zone 3 climate). I host a variety of workshops each year focusing on self-sufficiency skills such as greenhouse design, gardening by the moon, foraging tours, plant walks, plant spirit medicine, raising chickens, preserving food, herbalism, rainwater harvesting and many more. I have a Bachelor of Science in Physics and have been immersed in the construction industry my whole life. I was raised by frugal, resourceful farmers who taught me to truly become a Jack-of-all trades. My interests run from knitting and woodworking to plant spirit medicine and witchcraft. I have four energetic boys, one amazing husband, many chickens and a thirst for knowledge that only grows more prominent each day.

Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course Details
October 2019 - April 2020
REGINA, SK or ONLINE!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30th, 2019

I chose to teach this course over the course of 7 months to allow for maximum infiltration of the ideas and principles, and to allow busy schedules to allow for the full uptake of information.

This course includes theoretical knowledge from Bill Mollison's Permaculture Design Manual, and hands-on experiential knowledge from myself, Jenine Kozey, at my 22-acre permaculture farm in Southern Saskatchewan. As a physicist, herbalist, instructor, naturalist and homesteader, I offer a unique, resourceful approach to permaculture design and its teachings.

This course is offered as follows:

6 weekends (72hrs in total): Hands-on and classroom training

Price $1600 before Sept 15, 2019 or $1700 after September 15th, 2019
OR four installments of $450 (includes financing fee - select this option at checkout)

Included in your tuition:
• Textbook: Permaculture: A Designer’s Manual by Bill Mollison
• Library of digital resources, including unit summaries
• $200 off registration of Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Prairies Course (July of each year)
• 50-page resource on plants most commonly used in permaculture design in the prairies (supplied upon completion of the PDC course)

Course will run from 9:00am – 5:00pm on Saturdays, and 9:00am-1:00pm on Sundays (15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon with a 45 minute break for lunch on Saturdays).

Course Dates:
October 26th and 27th, 2019
November 23rd and 24th, 2019
December 14th and 15th, 2019
January 18th and 19th, 2020
March 14th and 15th, 2020
April 18th and 19th, 2020

Successful completion of the PDC course occurs when the final assignment of a full permaculture design has been submitted and graded on a pass or fail basis. The final project due date is May 19th, 2020.
