Hi guys! I've done MAJOR slacking on this one, I am super sorry. But here are the winners.

Tony Scheck
and
meganjoy ostermann

Congratulations Tony and Meganjoy!

I sent you an email to ask for the email address of the person that first referred you to Permies.com. That person (if qualified) will also get a copy of the book and a permies care package.

There's still a few questions in the wild-harvesting forum that would welcome your input, Sergio. Here's the link - https://permies.com/forums/f-8/wild-harvesting

Mongo, You're so welcome! Learning new things can be daunting... Especially if you try to become an expert really fast.
I like to tell people that come to my class that if they simply learn one plant per week, in one year's time,
they will know 52 new plants! Even if you only make it a few weeks (only learn 3-8 plants),
you'll still know enough to make yourself a delightful salad! Speaking of salads:

I've watched your video that was included in Paul's kickstarter. Great. Started feeding my family weeds from my lawn. Wife a bite sceptic but my son loves it.

If in worst case scenario I win your book what are the chances of it being shipped to the UK?

Lukasz, I'll make you a deal, if you win my book, I'll be happy to ship it to the UK.

Tony, I cannot say exactly what's in your area (as I am not there) but I am certain there are things to eat up there. If I were to make a guess, I would say that you can find plants such as plantain, dandelion, purslane, dock, lambs quarters, thistles, and wild grasses at your altitude. Generally speaking, wild plants are like garden plants... They like moderate temperatures, sunshine, and water. Being at 8,000' you are probably not going to see the abundance in edibles that someone at 4,000' might see, but then again, you might. Last summer I took a trip to the Alps and found all sorts of goodies at 12,000'.

Authors have the option of providing an e-book, usually a kindle e-book, if they don't want to ship a physical book all over the world. It's their choice though - many will send a real, live hard-copy.

Don't forget, the more posts you make and the better their quality, the greater the chance of winning!
