It's a pretty good potted plant. A member of the mint family. It has some interesting effects.. Just wondering if any of you have grown it along with other herbs in your garden?

Is it not a controlled substance? It does indeed have some interesting (although short) effects

In some states, yes.. Very traditional intake is through mucus membranes which prolong its effects for considerably longer. So chewing has the highest effiacy/effect. A 'quid' it's called. Roll the leaves in a bundle and tuck it in your lip, similar to tobacco. Again, I'm curious if anyone is growing this here mint-family member.

I haven't grown it. But since you say it is a good potted plant, and I am looking to expand my "pot" garden, I may try it next year. If I can find it. I know there are some who are trying to make it illegal.

Good to hear from you ellen...Yes, as you can see its a pretty good-looking plant..If you have a half-dozen of them, you have a catchy display, along with your others alongside..and yes some states have made it a scheduled substance. It's a spiritual herb for some, and others just plain abuse it thereby ruining it for everyone. Good to hear from you. Peace -
