This Teacher Training unfolds as a design methodology and advocates the Permaculture Design Course Curriculum. We are committed to encouraging and inspiring your unique strengths and talents by demonstrating diverse teaching modalities such as lecture, facilitating class discussions, storytelling, and using visual aids. In this setting of active learning, you will experience essential hands-on practice by preparing and co-teaching several presentations. As a final course project the class will present a workshop to the public. This course is modeled after the course Jude attended with world- renowned Permaculture Instructors, Max Lindeggar and Lea Harrison in 1990. TUITION: $825. Includes course materials, camping & fabulous meals INSTRUCTORS Jude Hobbs co-founded Cascadia Permaculture Institute and has 30 years experience in the design and teaching fields. She utilizes whole system designs to generate environmentally sound solutions that inspire sustainable actions in urban and rural settings. With her extensive experience, Jude offers courses and workshops throughout the US and Canada and has developed curricula that encompass diverse learning styles with techniques that are fun, inspiring and information rich. Andrew Millison has been teaching Permaculture since 2001 at institutes and Universities from Arizona to Oregon. His practical experience is as the owner of a design-build landscaping company, designer in a Landscape Architecture office, and public speaker. Andrew is currently teaching at Oregon State University.
