Hi all,
I'm tucked in the NE corner of Oregon, in the town of La Grande. Over on the dry side. It's spring of course and I'm having a blast seeing my food forest begin to take shape. I did some major excavating this weekend for hugel bed building. About half an acre has been transformed. Now to fill in the trenches with old wood, straw and more. The trees should start arriving next week.

I would love to be sharing garden, critters and home with a happy man who shares my passion for permaculture.

I'm a 51 yo woman, 5'10", happy and healthy. Love to backpack, dance and grow my own food. Planning to build a tiny house with straw bale this summer. I'm hoping to turn it into a group learning project... that's what you call it when you ask all your friends to come help!

Life is good but could be even better, don't you think? Drop a line if you feel like it.

Me too.

But I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. The concept really fascinate me.

Hi Sue,

I would love to help build a garden together applying permaculture principles. I am Jerome, I just posted on the list so you can find me fairly easily. I also have a Facebook page. Not that I am that much into social media, but it is easier that way to keep in touch with my family (in France).
I am currently on the East Coast, but used to live in WA st. and in CA where I went to grad school in Davis.
You mention that you were planning to build a straw bale house this summer, how did that go? I have a fair amount of experience in many areas, but building/construction is one area where I don't have any experience and would love to learn how to build my own home.
Anyway, I felt like dropping you a line, I hope you will feel like replying to my "dropped" line
Talk soon I hope. Jerome
