Well, the ranch will go up for sale soon and I will be free to wander. Currently in the Pac. NW, but willing to relocate. I am a good market gardener, cook and conversationist, a very solid person overall, and have a general abiity to click with people. I am not so good at carpentry and have often thought about flipping homes with a contractor where I would install an edible landscape and help with the home remodel. Would even consider an intentional community or joining an existing household.

Hi Ian,

I'm in Eastern WA at the moment, would enjoy talking with you... I'm looking to do permaculture and a Food Forest. Not sure how to contact you through the site, so you can email me at teembo@gmail.com, or send a reply here how to contact you...

Hi Ian (and all). Mike here in deep SW Texas saying hellow and mentioning that I have toyed with the idea of an all-Queer intentional community which is Permaculture-based. The nearest big market is El Paso, TX. I think the region has a great potential for eco-tourism but it is also a hungry community and I think it would be possible to sell produce locally. Its hot down here but its an interesting and challenging climate, also extremely beautiful and diverse (mountains and desert with the Rio Grande nearby.) Id welcome any emails or chat or networking opportunities...and yes I am also single....thanks for reading...Mike.

Hey, Tim give Joshua tree my love. I used to live in Landers across the valley. Many years ago.

Looks like a lot of us single guys out there. I am still very single myself.

Interesting thread, but a bit dated now. What's append since? I'm doing an UrbanFarm & Permaculture Learning Centre in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. Ran across this here doing a search for gay+permaculture and looking to connect with other's who are gay and into permaculture and/or Urban Farming or Homesteading. My facebook is: Blue Kentucky Permaculture Centre. I can be contacted through there or by email: BlueKentucky@live.com

Hi Mark! Welcome to permies! We're glad to have you here!

Here's a more active thread for connecting with the permies.com LGBT community: Gay, the old frontier. We never left.

I hope this was helpful!
