I bike by this stuff on the way to school. Does anyone have any idea what it is......(I'm in Maine) If not I just got this book from the Google library called 'GRASSES OF MAINE' .... It's gotta be in there. Only
problem is that the book is pretty old and not very light reading. thanks, Brett ( this grass is about 8 ft btw..... )

Thanks Dave!!! Looks like this is it... come to think of it there is a lot of moisture in that area.. There's probably about an acre of this grass along a bike path near my apartment.... folks have cut out little meandering
pathways all through it..... I even saw some beer cans in there once. Well now I know my enviroment a little bit more
