Once again Mother Nature shows me she has a better plan than I do.

I have a small greenhouse that has a dual function as a cover for my well pump. So, of course I have stuff planted in there.

There is a small Meyer Lemon and sweet peas climbing all over it. The sweet peas have become so infested with aphids that you almost can't see the leaves. Due to SHEER LAZINESS I have not done more than throw a little DE on it. I intended to go attack the problem today.

And what do you know! My greenhouse is infested with lady bugs!!! So I just left them all alone to enjoy thier feast.

Look at where this lady bug has laid eggs. About 3 feet from the meal.
There are aphids on the stem of the unopened rose.

QUOTES FROM MEMBERS --- In my veterinary opinion, pets should be fed the diet they are biologically designed to eat. Su Ba...The "redistribution" aspect is an "Urban Myth" as far as I know. I have only heard it uttered by those who do not have a food forest, and are unlikely to create one. John Polk ...Even as we sit here, wondering what to do, soil fungi are degrading the chemicals that were applied. John Elliott ... Al Lumley...I think with the right use of permie principles, most of Wyoming could be turned into a paradise. Miles Flansburg... Then you must do the pig's work. Sepp Holzer

Great Article and video on Plants and weeds, the Ants on the plants can be controlled or balanced with predator/pray relationship use Ant Lions make sure you have some sand around the base of your plant you want them to care take they make small funnels and the ants which are lured in become breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another item I would like to mention using the term” infested" for description of the ladybugs in your yard, garden or green house give the meaning a negative, many people equate that term with a worse term to get ride of Ladybugs their next thought is "use pesticides" I would us abundant of Ladybugs instead. I have a new blog perhaps you or some of your reader might enjoy which give a lot of information about Ladybug its called "History of the Ladybug" http://historyoftheladybug.blogspot.com/
