hellow everyone, i am brisbane australia, but have a 40 acre property way out in the sticks. i am not one to beat around the bush so to speak and tell it like it is. i would like someone here that is either from Queensland australia or knows of someone, to get in contact with me concerning doing such a premacuture community on my property. i would prefer either a single bloke at first or a married couple with no young kids, mainly because the place IS NOT FENCED and it has too DEEP DAMS. i need help in FINISHING what i have already started, and those that help will be bale to live there in their own built dwelling. my vision is one of SURVIVAL for what is soon coming upon this world whether one likes to believe in it or not is a mute point. i desire the place to become self sufficent, it is not connected to the power grid and so a generator is what i have with a small battery bank. 12 volt shower is also in place etc in a shed. i am wanting someone with the same vision as mine and that is to CREATE A COMMUNITY OF SURVIVALISTS and eco friendly dwellers that have skills that will compliment my own in bringing such a dream to task. thanks 4 your time in reading this post. regards steve

Nah mate, I don't know anyone in Queensland. If you just joined PRI and your post isn't showing up, you may still be in some sort of moderation queue.
I'd say you're much more likely to find people there, since the majority of permies members are North American, with a healthy sprinkling of the rest of us of course!
While you'll be more likely to find Aus-specific stuff on PRI, permies is a great place to hang out. I mean, the ONLY rule is 'be nice'
