Modesto organic feed milling is supposed to be a good source. I have also though of buying bulk grains etc amd mixing blending my own. Any help or resources for pig, cb chicken, fish feed would be helpful. We hope to soon remove feed costs by providing enough cover crops, orchard growth and veggie growth in near future

Modesto is great. They have DE and cinnamon and all kinds of chi-chi ingredients, but we have to drive too far to get to a distributor. Azure Standard in Oregon is our go-to source for grains. They have drop points all over the Western US (one is just over a mile from my house) and great prices on organic. They sell 50# bags of pretty much everything, then you can mill and mix your own. We sprout grains for our chickens, which is WAY better than whole. Alfalfa pellets are a good intermediate step between grain and pasture too. Pretty much everything eats them. -g

G-,
Thank you for the reply. I am thinking of making a sprouting set up myself using my aquaponics system. It seems to start sprouts pretty easily. Do you have a system of your own?

Right now I'm using 1x1' nursery starting flats and sprouting 'wheat grass' style.
