One of these stickers is posted above each urinal in the Vancouver Convention center.
1. I was quite thirsty, so it's a good thing I saw this sign.
2. I took the second photo while waiting for the I-max movie to start.
3. Sometimes there's nothing but garbage on T.V.

Urinal?
I always thought those vertical drinking fountains were hard to get my head under.....

There is a stop sign in Stanley Park that has two small "no stopping" signs about the same style as a parking sign, mounted below the large red octagonal sign. I guess they mean stop, but don't stop and hang around or go hiking. The Victoria landfill has no dumping signs displayed prominently on the gates. If you arrive too early, these signs are the first thing you see. My powers of deduction have led me to believe that they don't want garbage dumped by the gates when the dump is closed. Some people don't bother with a trip to the dump. Instead they "donate" worthless furniture and other broken or filthy items to thrift stores while they are closed.

"But, Officer, I was going to stop until I saw the one saying No stopping".
It would be hard to write tickets there for "rolling stops". Stop? Don't stop?

One of my old bosses used to say "Rules are for those that lack common sense" But then I guess in some countries where water may be hard to find, drinking from urinals might be considered common sense? Life sure can be funny sometimes.
I like this one.

Caution, you may trip over one of the three plastic pylons that we leave out all the time.
To my shame, I found myself at McDonald's last night. I'm working in Sydney B.C. , a little town that rolls up the sidewalks at 6 pm. There was nowhere else to go. After maneuvering around several pylons , I informed a blank faced young woman that the floors were dry. "We leave them out all the time just in case" was her reply. --- I would think that eventually the regular customers will assume that the floor is dry and this will result in someone slipping when it truly is wet. Considering the girth of regular customers, this could be quite dangerous. A handy pylon may break their fall. :
I ordered the little $1.39 shit on a bun grease burger. It came with a generous coating of grease which I squeezed into 4 napkins. YUM.

1. This online birthday greeting has been sent all over the world.
2. This is a the back of a guy's overalls. He works for a real oil field service company from Alberta.
3. The temporary bus stop is marked on the sidewalk side of the pole. There is nothing visible from the street which might prevent a truck from parking here.

I'm not a professional ad man, but if I were to buy promotional pens as gifts for my customers, I'd probably spring for the extra penny to print the company name and phone number on the pen.
The other side is blank.
The photo didn't transfer well. It says --- Thank You For Your Business --- I can't remember who gave it to me and that's my point.

This sign in Sydney BC is meant to get your attention. Anyone over 4'10" can't ignore it since it hangs that far above the sidewalk
Twice while in Sydney , I have encountered strange parking situations.
Wherever the curb is painted yellow, it is illegal to park. All parking along the roads is clearly marked in white paint. But one spot in front of the Starbucks has yellow paint encroaching on a parking space by 3 feet. The 100 year old parking guy puzzles over it, looking at the paint, then the car bumper and back again from varying angles. I wonder if he'll ever call public works to fix the paint situation.
Just down the road, I worked at a site a few years ago where the paving and sidewalks were new. There were no signs regarding parking, so people from the construction site parked there all day.
I returned one day at 5 pm. to find that signs marking a 2 hour limit had been instaslled and 20 vehicles were ticketed. Same old parking guy. :

The men's bathroom in the Wendy's restaurant in Colwood BC has a privacy blind for the urinal which meets perfectly with the swing of the stall door. If you fail to let go by the time the door reaches 90 degrees, your fingers get pinched.

This poster is meant to be serious. It advertizes self help seminars.
The window is mounted on the floor of an attic. Someone could easily fall through and tumble 2 storeys.
The guy who proudly modeled this T-shirt was with his wife and kids. Most of us couldn't get away with that. I'm single and still have no desire to get away with such an affront to good taste.

Years ago we made a wine/booze punch bowl out of a urinal. Ahhh, the days of drinking and dropping out of university. The frat guys loved our geeky idea and stole it for a float in a parade.

This is one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed. I came out of the WalMart into the parking and a little girl was refusing to move as she worked on squeezing concessions out of her exasperated mother.(hidden by a pillar) Then I rounded the corner to see a similar looking but older little girl sulking in a distant corner. Both refused to budge until they got their mother to agree to buying various sugar treats and to take them to grandpa's later. : I wonder if they are going to work him over when they get there. This woman is powerless against the monsters she has created.
The world's coolest 80 year old couple drive this little car. Plate # 666
The piece of scrap iron is for sale at Value Village. It is with pots and pans but has no edge to contain food and is too rough even to cook roti or other flat bread. They want $7.99 Even the village idiot can see that this thing has little value. If they ever have a logo contest, I will submit that little gem.
