Northwest Permaculture Convergence - Portland & St. Helens, OR - Oct 13-16
We're now only a week away from the 4th annual NW Permaculture Convergence! With one day left for on-line ticket sales (sale ends Oct 9 at 11:59pm), those of you wanting to attend should register soon, or you'll have to pay a bit more at the gate (the price is still very fair at $95 including 2 nights of on-site camping).
The schedule for our 7 educational tracks, which includes some 50 presenters throughout the weekend, is posted on our website. Please take a moment to visit our site, check out who's coming and see what topics will be explored by visiting
www.nwpermaculture.com.
There will also be a kid's village hosted by Mother Earth School (
www.motherearthschool.com). We'll have a Hands-on & Skillshare Village where participants can learn about how to build a aquaponics system, make a primitive cooking pot with clay and fire, knapp flint, forge a garden tool with instruction from a blacksmith and more!
Most recently announced: Queen of the Sun (
www.queenofthesun.com), an awarded documentary about the global bee crisis, will have a special showing on Saturday night of the Convergence, followed by a workshop on Sunday about bees and beekeeping with local expert, Jacqueline Freeman of Friendly Haven Rise Farm.
We've also recently announced the program for our free in-Portland Thursday night event. It will be held at the site of this year's Village Building Convergence, the St. David of Whales Church, located at 280 SE Harrison St. Info on this and other free Thursday offerings here.
Come for one day, camp overnight or stay for the entire weekend.
